Ram Prasad Dahal, the president of the society, donated Rs. 65000 to Uttam Roka of Khijidemba village in Okhaldhunga district was airlifted to Kathmandu’s Chavahil-based Longevity Hospital on April 26 after suffering a stroke. Roka is still unconscious for three months after being brought to Kathmandu for treatment. He has been fed through a tube. According to the patient’s mother Bhunumaya, Rs 2.5 million has been spent on the treatment so far.
